1. Our vision: freedom and performance
1.1 Freedom
We encourage mobility in all its forms: office, home, coworking, train, or even abroad. Everyone is free to choose their environment, subject to meeting performance objectives and legal constraints (visas, taxation, etc.).
Our ambition is to promote work–life balance for everyone.
1.2 Results rather than time spent present
We evaluate success based on clear and measurable objectives. Telework must never hinder cooperation or the quality of service provided to our clients.

Our internal motto is “Think straight, talk straight”: direct transparent communication, setting ambitious goals, regular feedback and individual support are our pillars. Initiative is encouraged, ambition is collective, and feedback is part of everyday life.
Even remotely, cohesion is a priority: we regularly organize meetups (physical or virtual), team-building sessions and convivial rituals to maintain a strong company culture.
Teleworking employees have the same access to information, training and collaboration tools as if they were on site.
2. Gym access, sustainable mobility allowance and remote week
2.1 Access to a gym
Every employee is offered a gym membership of up to … euros per month.
2.2 Sustainable mobility allowance
As part of its Sustainable Mobility Allowance policy, Figen AI covers up to 900 euros for the purchase or repairs of a personal bicycle, including electric bikes or any other electric personal mobility device.
2.3 Remote week
Based on a set annual calendar, Figen AI allows its entire team to telework without prior request one full week per month.
3. Telework modalities
3.1 Freedom to work abroad (up to 6 consecutive months)
Telework abroad: At Figen AI, any employee may request to work abroad for up to 6 consecutive months.
Subject to validation of administrative aspects (visa, local labor law) and a prior discussion to define objectives and reporting modalities.
During this period, the employee retains most of their social benefits and their salary remains indexed to their original contract.
3.2 Train telework (5 days)
Work-on-rail: To promote low-carbon travel, we offer the possibility to work up to 5 full days per year on board a train, considering travel time as effective working time.
3.3 Flexibility for interns
4–6 month internships: Interns may benefit from the monthly remote week, if the current mission allows and measurable objectives are set.
For integration and skill development reasons, more regular office presence is required at the start.
4. Logistical & financial support
4.1 Subscription to the European Starlink (Nordnet) offer for travelers and workers in French white zones
Guaranteed Internet coverage: For employees who travel regularly or work in white zones, Figen AI covers the subscription if no other reliable high-speed connection is available.
4.2 Equipment and coworking
Telework allowance: Each full-time employee receives ergonomic equipment (monitor, etc.) to facilitate their setup.
4.3 Travel and team meetings
Team meetups: Figen AI teams meet physically at least twice a year in inspiring locations (mountain hiking, Cévennes farmhouse…) to strengthen cohesion and innovation.
International offsites: Employees on extended telework abroad are invited to attend these offsites to maintain connection.
5. Security and collaborative tools
Hardware and VPN: Figen AI provides a laptop configured with secure access (privacy screen, VPN, and encryption solutions).
Secure cloud tools: We use a set of secure collaborative tools (video conferencing, instant messaging, shared documents) to streamline communication..
6. Implementation process
- Formal request: Any telework abroad longer than 4 weeks or in a non-conventional zone requires a request at least 30 days before departure.
- Feedback: For any extended telework experience, a debriefing interview is organized upon your return to capture best practices and continuously improve.
